This is a vintage ring--likely a gents diamond band circa 1940s. It is unmarked but guaranteed (and tested) at least solid 10k old rose gold. The design goes all the way around the band (see video or photos). There are typical scuffs and pits as typical with older pieces.. I love this ring as a band for men or women--and the size is a nice sweet spot for many.
The diamond is an old mine cut stone. It is pretty clean. I obtained this ring with a chip on the diamond (see photos). I have shifted the chiped part, when tightening the stone, to sit under the prong. It reflects less this way. Old mine cuts were crudely cut and often show little chips as a result, typically on the girdle. The diamond is about 5mm and roughly a half carat.
The front of the band is 8.42mm wide, and the back is 4.35mm. The ring is a si´7.25 and weighs 4.3g.
