This lovely vintage ring made by "Spring" once housed synthetic spinels. It now is home to a natural merlot colored garnet. While the cut is a bit wonky on it (see photos), the handmade nature of the ring and stones still make it special. Flanking the .93ct 6mm garnet are 2.3mm natural I3, near colorless diamonds totaling .10ctw.
The ring is solid 10k gold and smaller at just over a 5.25. The weight is 1.2g. I've left some of the oxidation/patina in the crevices as they are pinkish--and compliment the garnet nicely.
