These are beautiful and lustrous genuine Akoya cultured pearls from Japan. These became popular after WW2. These earrings are definitely a statement piece and would be beautiful for bridal, professional, or however anyone wants to boast them. The backs are stainless steel with the plastic disc to keep them stable on the ear. When trying them on, I find them comfortable and not heavy.
The pearls have nice luster. They range from about 7mm down to 4mm (very estimated). The width of the earring is about 13/16". The set without backs weigh 5.8g.
While they are not marked, I guarantee these to be SOLID sterling silver with rhodium plating. There is beautiful hand diamond cutting accents on the petals as well.
