This is a type A (completely natural, untreated) jadeite jade from Guatemala. The color is a bluish-Green, with green being the dominant hue. They appear opaque but they are translucent (see photos).
The beads are small rounds with 4.75mm diameter. The necklace is 30" long, all hand knotted by me on white natural silk. The necklace has a sterling silver hook clasp that is somewhat flexible to secure the piece. There are several ways to wear this: long, double-wrapped choker, knotted, or a multi-strand bracelet....
