This is a beautiful near antique necklace that was made in England. It is crafted in all solid sterling silver. The pendant itself houses a morpho butterfly wing shielded by a reverse painted glass top with very minimal abrasions for its age. The young lady portrayed in a garden has red hair and red shoes. She is dressed in a beautiful blue dress and bonnet made up by the butterfly wing. This is the most stunning piece I’ve come across. The colors are nice and vivid. While there is normal wear due to its history, I can tell it was stored well.
The necklace is all original and fixed to the chain that is 19”. The drop from the pendant is 1.¾” The pendant is ⅞” wide. All handmade and weighing 8g!
