This is an all natural, untreated alexandrite, June's birthstone, that shows good color change! The gem shows some cool chatoyancy (that silky "cat eye" effect") that can be seen in one of the photos, as well as video with a violet-blue flash on the teal-green body. When introduced to other light sources, such as incandescent lighting, you can see a shift to more of a purple hue. As typical with alexandrite, there can be inclusions. This one has a surface reaching one (does not disrupt the integrity of the faceted gem structure) that looks like a faint hairline--if you can find it with the naked eye!
Alexandrite is a durable gem and it has gone up in price. This gem is oval, and has a measurement of 5.95x3.77mm, and weighs .43ct (which is a good size for this stone). The stone has been set in a size 8, solid 10k gold, giving the ring a total weight of 1.5g.
