This ring is very "New Life Jewelry"! It contains very pre-loved "destash" components, that have been married together to create this one of a kind treasure.
The alexandrite is 100% natural, untreated. There is an abrasion on the surfface, and is priced accordingly. It might be a good piece just to hold onto and have recut, if you want, just because alexandrites of this size are harder to come by. Honestly, I love it just how it is!
The alexandrite color changes from a dusty teal to a muddy purple. For best color change viewing, use your phone to photograph in incandescent lighting vs, natural, or fluorescent or LED light. The stone is .42ct and measures about 5.76x4.01mm. There is silk present. See photos and video for more detail.
Flanking the center stone are 2 rhodolite garnets of promotional quality. They are 5x3mm oval and weigh a total of .50ct.
At the ends are 2 natural sapphires that are about 2.5mm rounds weighing about .16ct. These too are of promotional quality.
The ring is very pre-loved and salvaged. Nothing about it is perfect, but all these parts put together makes it a cool piece.
It's just under a size 7 and weighs 1.5g.
