This setting was pre-loved and has been given new life! I've removed the badly abraded original stone (follow me on Facebook for before-after photos) and replaced it with a unique sapphire from Montana, USA.
The sapphire itself is quite interesting. It appears to be heat treated (normal), and there is a mix of color in it making it look teal. I've reverse set it as a "rose cut" because it truly faces best this way. This ring shows color shifting depending on the lighting. You may find it more of a denim blue in incandescent lighting, and a tealy-green in fluorescent. The stone is oval measuring about 6x5mm and it weighs .96ct.
The sapphire is flanked by 2 natural diamonds totalling about .06ctw. The ring is on the thinner side. It's a size 6.5 and weighs 1.7g.
