This is a pre-loved treasure produced by the Comet Ring Manufacturing Co. here in the us, circa 1960s. The ring features its original 10x12mm oval, color shift synthetic spinel. This color was commonly used as an alexandrite simulant due to the flashes of blue, green and violet. The stone is thoughtfully embraced by foliage and flanked by beautiful tea roses. There is a generous amount of gold used here.

The ring is just under a size 6 and does have some light wear to the stone (see photos and video)--as can be expected for it's age. The stone is a seafoam greenish-blue to a greyish, violetish blue, depending on the light source. The ring weighs a hefty 5.7g of solid 10k gold.
