This is a beautiful one of a kind statement ring with lovely detail. The star of this ring is the 9x7mm oval Ethiopian opal. It's been smoke treated to give a background for the broad flashes of reds and green. This is a permanent process. Keeping in mind, opals are lightweight compared to other gems, this one is .86ct. It is framed by some micro-pave zircons and a fine braided rope design.
The setting is solid sterling silver and the size 7 ring weighs 2.8g.
