The cut makes this stone so much more special. I’m hopeful the wearer it goes to will enjoy the various characteristics of it. In diffused natural lighting you can see the center of the gem is cut to display the pinks and the outer perimeter of the stone is green. In fluorescent lighting it may look more reddish and in fluorescent lighting more green. You can also see the variation in color based on the angle the ring is viewed.
The round stone is 1.18ct and 7mm. It’s set in a lovely solitaire floral setting of solid sterling silver. It’s been rhodium plated to resist tarnishing. The ring is a size 8 and weighs 2.9g.
