This is a gorgeous antique treasure, completely hand made circa 1860s-1890s. It is in a navette fashion with lots of fine hand etched detail. There are 5 natural old mine cut, cleaved diamonds of nice quality (SI-I/GH). The approximate carat weight is 1.20, with the center stone being just under .5ct. Due to the crude nature of the cut, old mine diamonds should be expected to have "chips", especially to the girdle, as part of the manufacturing process. Diamonds measure from about 3.1-4.6mm (very roughly). The "navette' element of the ring is about 1 1/8" x 3/8"

The ring appears to be all original with some touched up enameling. As with most pieces of this era, enameling may be missing from hard wear of the ring and jewelers "paint" in to fill any gaps. Please see photos for added description of the condition of any piece. One of the prongs appears to be worn down on the smaller diamonds, but the diamond is very secure by the remaining 5 prongs. All other prongs look good.

The ring is a size 8.5 and weighs 6.8g.
