This is one of the sweetest pieces I've come across. This beautiful lady features foil, guilloche enameling and hand painting. The metal is not stamped but tests as solid 14k gold minimum. It is attached to a 10k gold filled bale. It hangs from a solid 14k 17" fine curb link chain--also vintage, though not as old.
The pendant says "France" on the back side. From bale to bottom, the pendant measures 1 7/8 x 3/4". The total weight is 4.1g.
Under magnification there is a fine little fracture to the enameling. However it appears to be under the lady, leaving me to believe this was something that was a result of manufacturing rather than damage from wear.
