This is a very vintage brooch--nearly antique, if not already. It is made of solid 10k white gold, circa 1930. It features a natural cleaved old mine cut diamond that is about 3.5mm and probably about .15ct. The 2.25mm square blue "sapphires" to the side are simulated and glass. There are some abrasions, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of the piece as a whole.
The latch on the back is looser, but the pin does stay nice and secure in its hook. I don't foresee any problems as a result. The piece is in otherwise nice shape, all handmade.
The measurement is about 2 1/16" long by about 4mm wide. The brooch weighs 3g.
