Giving Tuesday 2025
Share
Today is Giving Tuesday... The White Sutton Syndrome Foundation is a cause super close to my heart. Our daughter is impacted by this gene. She is one of our most precious "gems". This foundation was there for us when we got our news and were so overwhelmed. We don't feel alone. We don't feel hopeless!
This foundation has given my daughter a community of friends. It's given ME a community of friends--many of whom feel like family now. Being able to attend conferences to learn of the latest research being done has been such a Godsend for us! We've been able to talk with doctors, researchers, other families. We feel less alone, more informed, and able to better support our impacted loved ones with the best resources to thrive in society.
The girl in this picture is Em; my daughter. When my business was originally wire work, Em was the "Em" in EmBound. This girl inspires me every day. She puts life in perspective, and this world is a better place because of her.
With recent funding cuts, we've lost a researcher and studies are in limbo. We have a wonderful opportunity to obtain the opportunity again to press forward, but it does cost money. We're asking humbly for your help by investing in this cause--any amount!
New Life Jewelry is a proud monthly sponsor of the White Sutton Syndrome Foundation. Our foundation is an all-volunteer team, who passionately want to better this world with research, community, and equipping those with White Sutton Syndrome with the tools to be their best.
I also proudly serve as a board member and Secretary for the White Sutton Syndrome Foundation. You can learn a bit about me, Emma and our hearts by visiting the site.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration. I realize there are so many, this time of year, asking for your money! I can't think of an organization that is all-volunteer, small, that's been able to do what we have in a short time--all the while, being good stewards of funds.
If you would like to know more about the POGZ gene mutation and what White Sutton Syndrome entails, and how our research is bettering the community for those with varying special needs, please visit WhiteSutton.org.
